Scented Candles – Essential holiday décor begins with candles. Candles give a room cozy ambiance in both the day and at night. Reusing jars from previous candles or other glasses around the house make great candle holders. Some favorite holiday scents include pine, cranberry, apple, fresh balsam, cinnamon, and rosemary.

Potpourri – Extra materials from around the house such as pieces of pine, bits of rosemary, and cinnamon are simple touches to add to your potpourri. Bowls and baskets are great holders and can also be universal from season to season. This also serves as a great centerpiece. Stovetop potpourri is perfect to boil before having guests over.

Wreaths– Smaller limbs of garland from the tree can make your wreaths look authentic and also be customizable to fit the rest of your homes décor. Wreathes can be hung both outside and in to make any door look merry!
