When it comes to pizza, I like to keep it simple using fresh ingredients that pay homage to the season we are in. This September, I am taking advantage of the beautiful heirloom tomatoes from my local farmer’s market. Fresh burrata, juicy tomatoes, pesto and basil on a grain-free Capellos pizza crust. What more does one need?

1 Cappellos Naked Pizza Crust

2 medium heirloom tomatoes

Sliced fresh burrata

1/4 of a small red onion sliced

3 tbsp pesto fresh basil


Preheat oven according to Capellos instructions. Place pizza crust on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Add sliced tomato and red onion onto pizza crust. Once the oven is at desired temperature, place pizza in the oven and bake according to instructions. Remove from oven and top with fresh burrata, pesto, and basil. Serve immediately.
