1 Cappellos Naked Pizza Crust
When it comes to pizza, I like to keep it simple using fresh ingredients that pay homage to the season we are in. This September, I am taking advantage of the beautiful heirloom tomatoes from my local farmer’s market. Fresh burrata, juicy tomatoes, pesto and basil on a grain-free Capellos pizza crust. What more does one need?
2 medium heirloom tomatoes, sliced
1/4 of a small red onion, sliced
3 tbsp pesto
Preheat oven according to Capellos
instructions. Place pizza crust on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Add sliced tomato and red onion onto pizza crust. Once oven is at desired temperature, place pizza in oven and bake according to instructions. Remove from oven and top with fresh burrata, pesto and basil. Serve immediately.
