Sunday’s are for baking, so I decided to try and make Ali Bonar’s Grain-Free Brookie Bar recipe!

BROWNIE COOKIE BARS

BROWNIE LAYER

1 1/2 cups Bob's Red Mill Almond Flour

1/2 cup raw cacao powder

5-6 pitted dates

2 tbsp coconut oil

1 tsp vanilla pinch of salt  

COOKIE DOUGH LAYER

1 cup almond flour

2 tbsp coconut flour

1/4 cup coconut sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 cup almond butter

1/4 cup ghee

pinch of salt

1 Hu Kitchen Chocolate Bar, chopped

instructions

Combine brownie ingredients in food processor and mix until combined. Press layer into a 8x8 pan line with parchment paper. Pop in freezer while you prepare the cookie dough layer. Combine cookie dough ingredients and press on top of frozen brownie layer. Store in fridge until both layers are firm.
