This September I traveled to Italy and spent time in Rome and Tuscany with family. Although I was only able to spend a week in this beautiful country, I made the most of it and was able to visit some of the most historic parts of the country and indulge in the unforgettable flavors of Italy. Here are a few of my favorite memories from my trip! I cannot wait to go back soon.

Purely Elizabeth travels to Rome

ROME

Ristorante Aroma: Sparkling rosé, the most unreal bread, followed by an egg, asparagus and truffle dish and buffalo mozzarella ravioli at the incredible, Michelin starred Aroma overlooking the beautiful Colosseum.

Pantheon: Spent the day touring the beautiful church.

Fiocco di neve: Passionfruit cheesecake gelato in a gluten-free cone.

Pierluigi Roma: Fresh pasta and wine for the perfect last night in Rome.

I’m already dreaming to get back to this beautiful country and explore more of Europe. Looking for more travel inspiration? Check out my Summer Travel Guide to four of my favorite places in the U.S.!
