Self-care. You’ve heard a lot about this trend in 2018 and don’t expect it to lose momentum in 2019. One of my 2019 wellness predictions, self-care, has become an important element of health and general well-being over the past couple of years. When I think of practicing self-care, I think of setting aside time for yourself and giving your body and mind the attention it deserves. Giving yourself 10 extra minutes to wake up your body in the morning through relaxing stretches is a form of self-care. Lighting a candle and jotting down the 3 big things that happened during your day is a form of self-care. When it comes down to it, self-care is what you make it and there is no right or wrong in how to practice this technique.

The $400 billion self-care industry has inspired companies like Peloton and Mirror.co to create at home workouts that bring expert trainers and classes right into your living room. Apps like Shine, which sends daily pep talks to your phone, and Calm, an app that brings meditation right to your ear, are making it even easier for you to practice self-care right on-the-go. Expect to see lots of innovation within this high-growth industry!

I am always on the hunt for new products, workout and apps to practice better self-care. These 9 products have been on heavy rotation in my daily routine lately and I thought I would share them with you!
