What I'm Loving | May 2022

Here are my faves for May 2022:

Beauty
Nutrafol
I’ve recently started taking Nutrafol supplements to help nourish my hair, hoping to get a thicker, longer mane. While it’s only been a few weeks, I honestly feel like I’m seeing results already. The supplements are filled with all the good stuff to get to the root of hair problems, including Ashwaganda for stress, Maca and Saw Palmetto to balance hormones, Curcumin to support cellular metabolism, and Marine collagen, biotin, zinc to support the nutrition your hair needs.

Prose
Apparently, I’m on a hair kick, since my other favorite new thing this month is Prose shampoo and conditioner. This line of custom hair products are designed for your specific needs (after answering a series of questions), plus made with cleanest, ethically sourced ingredients - free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oils, GMOs, and is always cruelty-free.

Food
Deux Enhanced Cookie Dough
Looking for a healthier sweet treat that you can bake up in minutes? If you haven’t already, you must try Deux. This vegan, gluten-free enhanced cookie dough is made with the best ingredients, plus you can eat it straight out of the container, no baking required. Sabeena, the founder, was just on the podcast, which you can listen to here. It was so much fun to hear her start-up story and chat!

Listening
The Skinny Confidential
One of my favorite podcasts Skinny Confidential, just had one of my favorite biohackers, Andrew Huberman, Ph.D., a neuroscientist and tenured Professor in the Department of Neurobiology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. There’s so much great information on sleep, hormones, stress, hot/cold therapy and more.

528 HRZ
A great tip I got from the Skinny Confidential was listening to 528hrz music to instantly put your body into a state of relaxation. Using this frequency has shown to have calming, centering, and energizing effects on the mind. A 2018 study from Japan discovered that music tuned to the frequency of 528 Hz significantly reduced stress in the endocrine systems and autonomic nervous systems—even after a mere five minutes of listening. You can search on Spotify for different playlists, here are a few favorite of mine:
528 hz chill beats
528 hz famous songs
