Reading | Fiber Fueled

I recently started Fiber Fueled, which is all about a plant based approach to gut health. I am all about learning more of the important of gut health for our overall wellbeing and how to have a better internal eco-system. There is so much to learn in this book.

Eating | Flaxseed

While reading Fiber Fueled, I'm reminded to eat a more diverse spectrum of plants and use one of my old standby's flaxseed. Flaxseed is a fiber and omega 3 powerhouse (we use it in our oatmeal and pancakes). I just bought a bag of flax and have been making an effort to remember to sprinkle it in smoothies, salads and anything in between.
