Whether it’s #wafflewednesday, Sunday Brunch, or really just any morning… waffles are a great way to treat yourself in the morning! Try out this recipe for a healthier-for-you waffle with some seriously tasty toppings.
1 cup almond flour
1 tbsp coconut sugar
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
1/4 cup coconut milk
1 orange, zest
In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Whisk in coconut oil, eggs and coconut milk. Pour batter onto waffle maker. Cook according to waffle maker instructions. Top with yogurt, pistachios, granola, maple syrup and orange zest.
