I am fortunate to travel and visit cities all across the US for Purely Elizabeth, and my favorite part of traveling is exploring each city. As an early riser, I’m always in search of wellness spots and healthy cafes and juice bars. This summer, I’ve spent a ton of time in New York and LA along with Chicago and, of course, my home, Boulder, Colorado. I wanted to share some of my favorite spots with you in each of these cities. Happy exploring!
Purely Elizabeth was founded in New York almost 10 years ago and this city will always feel like home. I love traveling to NYC to check out new spots and visit my old favorites.
My beautiful home. Every time I return home from a long week of traveling and I see the sun setting behind the rocky mountains I am reminded of how grateful I am to live in such a beautiful place. Boulder’s food scene is impressive with forward-thinking and sustainably-sourced food options abound. As a health food hub of the west, I can always find inspiration from this amazing community.
LA is filled with energy and I am always eager to travel back here so I can discover new food and wellness trends. I have been able to connect with so many like-minded people in the LA area like one of my close friends, Danielle Dietz-LiVolsi, founder of NuttZo so visiting this city has become so familial to me.
Chicago is an incredible place to visit, especially in the summer when the weather is warm and you can enjoy hanging out near Lake Michigan and the Chicago River. As the 2017 Best Restaurant City, Chicago dominates the midwest’s food scene and I always find a new place to explore in the city.
