Crumbles are my forever favorite, so this year I wanted one that felt classic and a little modern for holidays. This apple–cranberry version hits all the cozy notes, while the tahini crumble and miso caramel bring a deeper, more complex flavor. The best part? Miso delivers gut-supportive fermentation benefits, and tahini brings healthy fats and minerals to help keep things balanced. Comforting, simple, and just elevated enough for the holiday table.
Ingredients
3 medium apples (Honeycrisp, Pink Lady, or Fuji), cored, and sliced ¼-inch thick
1–1½ cups fresh cranberries (or frozen, unthawed)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of fine sea salt
