The Process
How We Hire
Step 1
Phone Screen
The first interaction with our team is with our head of People & Culture. In this 30 minute phone call, the goal is to get to know you better, learn more about what you are looking for in your next role, and align on the requirements of the role. We will also leave time to answer any questions you might have about the role and go over the timeline and process to ensure you know what to expect.
Step 2
Manager interview
In this meeting, you will spend an hour speaking to the hiring manager over a video call to deep dive into your past work experience and technical skills as it relates to the role. You can expect to be asked about your prior roles and responsibilities so we can align them with the requirements of the role. You will also get a clear understanding of what the expectations of this role are and what your first 90 days will look like.
Step 3
Technical assessment
In some cases, we will issue a brief technical assessment to be completed in a reasonable amount of time. This is to test your skills in areas directly relevant to the role that you will be expected to perform regularly.
Step 4
ELT Panel Interview
At this stage of the interview process, we invite our top candidates to meet with our Executive Leadership Team. The format is a panel consisting of two to three members of Executive Leadership for an hour over a video call. This is a great opportunity for us to see how your skills and abilities will work cross-functionally within our organization, and for you to ask questions of our senior leaders to get clarity on our major company goals and initiatives.
Step 5
Founder Interview
As a final step in the process, you will have the opportunity to speak directly with our founder and visionary, Elizabeth, for 30 minutes to better understand our mission, values, and company culture. This stage runs in tandem with our conducting professional references with one or two of your former colleagues, preferably a combination of past managers and direct reports.

Director / Senior Manager, Supply Planning Job Description
Purely Elizabeth is seeking a skilled and experienced Director / Senior Manager, Supply Planning to own the end-to-end finished goods supply planning process across Purely Elizabeth’s supply chain. This includes translating demand forecasts into executable production and inventory plans that optimize service levels, working capital, and co-manufacturer capacity to ensure 100% on-time and in-full customer delivery. This high-impact role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative approach with internal and external customers to manage risks and drive continuous improvement across our production, procurement, and logistics network. Candidates will lead both strategic supply planning and tactical execution, including production order placement and schedule management with co-manufacturers.
This role will report to our VP of Supply Chain and work cross-functionally with members of Sales, Finance, and Operations. This role is based in Boulder, CO.
ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES
Own development / improvement of supply chain run strategy (sequencing, frequency, min/max, etc), impacting WOS targets, inventory health, service level attainment, and supply risk mitigation.
Develop, maintain, and execute a rolling 12 month and 13-week finished goods production plan that aligns with sales forecasts and inventory targets while minimizing total delivered cost.
Lead regular supply review meetings with co-manufacturers to ensure alignment, review attainment, current schedule and production forecast.
Responsible for key performance indicators (KPIs) such fill rate, WOS, working capital, and attainment.
Lead the Supply Review portion of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, creating charts and presenting the KPIs and forward-looking supply and risks to executive leadership.
Partner with Demand Planning to analyze trends and proactively adjust supply plans
Serve as the primary planning and operational contact for co-manufacturers. Execute quarterly business reviews.
Coordinate and lock in production schedules with co-manufacturers based on lead time requirements. Place Production Orders and update as necessary against attainment for accuracy.
Monitor Inventory for discrepancies. Work with Operations to ensure Inventory is accurate.
Partner with Procurement to anticipate and proactively manage supply risks, including long-lead raw/packaging materials, co-manufacturer capacity constraints/minimums, as well as unexpected production or quality issues.
Review and analyze 1-3 year rough cut capacity plan (RCCP) of the supply network to proactively identify needs of the business.
Partner with Commercialization team to ensure new items launch on time and in full. Key Operational contact for determining ability to hit promotion or new item timelines.
Main point of contact and relationship owner for Supply Planning System. Work with contractor to troubleshoot and enhance system for improved efficiency and ensure system can flex to support growth. Maintain item set-up within the Supply Plan and set necessary parameters for planning.
Develop and mentor supply planning team members as the organization scales.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree or certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience (5-7 for Senior Manager, 8-10+ years for Director) in supply planning within the food or natural products CPG industry.
Proficiency in supply planning software, statistical tools, ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead and manage co-manufacturers, ensuring daily needs are met and develop Strategic Plans to support company growth and initiatives.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

As the Brand Manager, Equity & Communications at Purely Elizabeth, you will play a critical role in executing our marketing strategy and integrated marketing communications plans across paid, owned and earned media to expand household penetration, grow brand awareness and curate a community of brand fans. This high impact role requires an insatiable curiosity for identifying what’s next in marketing, understanding how consumers discover and shop for products and identifying new ways to reach our fans online and IRL. This individual must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels at Purely Elizabeth. The role requires an individual with a deep understanding of marketing principles, demonstrated success in driving business results through marketing communications, a data-driven approach to decision-making and a team player who can rally external and internal stakeholders to bring big ideas to life.
This role will report to the Vice President of Marketing and work cross-functionally with members of the Marketing team as well as Sales, Finance and Operations. The role will start as an independent contributor with potential for direct reports in the future. The headquarters is in Boulder, CO, but this role can be fully remote.
ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the development of a modern marketing playbook to increase household penetration, grow brand awareness and cultivate a highly engaged community.
Lead the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across internal and external stakeholders including broadcast, digital, social, partnerships, and influencer, ensuring tactics work together harmoniously to deliver consistent and impactful communications.
