Chocolate Sea Salt Yogurt Granola Bowl with Miso Caramel

Breakfast doesn’t have to be boring. This bowl layers creamy yogurt with Purely Elizabeth Chocolate Sea Salt granola and finishes it off with a touch of miso caramel, creating a mix of textures and flavors that will make you excited for the morning.

Ingredients

1 cup yogurt

3 tbsp miso caramel

1 tbsp chocolate chunks

½ cup Purely Elizabeth Chocolate Sea Salt Granola

Miso Caramel:

1 can coconut cream

½ cup coconut sugar

Pinch sea salt

2 tbsp white miso paste

Directions: 

  1. Prep the caramel first by adding the cream and coconut sugar to a pan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer while stirring frequently.

  2. Let the mixture simmer for 15 minutes until thickened. Stir in the salt and miso and let cool before using. 
  3. Top with maple syrup and serve!  Add the yogurt to a serving bowl and drizzle with the caramel. Use a spoon to mix the yogurt and caramel together slightly.  
  4. Top with granola and chocolate chunks and enjoy!
